Glitterball is an annual formal ball held in St. Andrews during the second semester, known and loved by those both in St Andrews and outside the Bubble. This magnificent event is the first of its kind in the UK and is fully LGBT+ inclusive. Glitterball is wholly organised by students without funding from the University and we have sustained it for the last five years through sponsors, who recognise the importance of an event of this nature.
Glitterball 2023 will be on March 25th, and the theme is Chrome!

Glitterball provides a night of live music, DJs, drag, and food but more importantly, an environment for all students to feel comfortable and celebrate their differences. In the past few years, we have seen a number of exceptional performers. Our 2022 headliner was Ella Vaday, and we're very excited to announce that Glitterball 2023 will be headlined by RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestant Vanity Milan!
Glitterball prides itself on being a truly open and inclusive space to all of its attendees; regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Find the Glitterball Facebook page here!
